This project for TIAH is a good example of the kind of storytelling work I produced across a wide range of films. This one follows a woman who left her career in teaching to become a farmer, and it tells her story with honesty and warmth. It’s simple, grounded and focuses on the shift in her life, her work and the sense of fulfilment she’s found.
For this particular film I worked as producer, shaping the narrative, working with the contributor and planning the structure of the piece. On many similar projects I also carried the full end-to-end role, from directing and lighting to camera work, B-roll and the edit. It’s the level of involvement I’m used to, and it’s the approach that helps these kinds of films feel natural rather than over-constructed.
The interview in this project is lit and framed to feel calm and open, and the B-roll supports exactly what she’s talking about. Everyday moments on the farm give the story texture without distracting from her voice.
It’s a small film with a real sense of clarity and heart, and a good example of the style of production I delivered across many industries and locations.
