Before this project, Get Laid Beds relied on an external rendering company for product imagery. It was expensive, slow, and limited. Every bed came in only one fixed camera angle, the realism was hit and miss, and getting new variants meant paying for a fresh batch each time. Not ideal for a brand that offers dozens of bed designs, multiple sizes, and over a dozen wood finishes.
So I built a complete in-house 3D pipeline from the ground up.
Using Blender and Adobe Substance 3D, I created a fully flexible system that held every bed model and every size the company sold. I developed individual PBR texture sets for each wood finish, built photoreal lighting environments, and designed branded room setups that look like real styled interiors rather than generic 3D spaces.
The result was a pipeline that could output any bed, in any finish, at any angle, at any resolution. Close up detail shots, side views for ads, overhead for design guides, lifestyle renders for campaigns. All instantly repeatable and at zero ongoing cost. Oh and the future scalability for 3D animation & video/Product turn-arounds/assembly instructional videos.
This system, capable of producing the 3,400+ PDP images required alone and opened the door for future marketing content on demand. What previously took weeks and a chunk of budget became something we could generate in-house to a higher standard, whenever needed. Free.
A few renders from the library are below.
